The Sarilumab (anti-IL-6) study for intermediate and posterior uveitis has been initiated in our centre for Switzerland.
For patients suffering from uveitis and in whom steroids do not adequately control the inflammation leading to loss of vision, a new therapeutic approach is being tested. The protocol was approved by the ethics committee of the county of Vaud. Please contact our research nurse, Alice de Almeida at +41-21-566-1862.
